![]() what a pitiful human being.Note protection of first Cannon by Pylon and ramp "īUMP as per andrew's request cuz he sucks-so bad he can't even bump this thread himself. ![]() "Once that is complete, our focus will shift. "Our priority now is completing the core game," added Morhaime. The test will focus on the multiplayer mode, featuring all three of the title's races and several maps. Signups for the beta officially opened yesterday, with users able to opt-in to the test by way of their profiles. "This summer we will be opening up external beta testing, and while we haven't announced a release date yet, this phase will also signal the final stretch ," said Morhaime during today's Activision Blizzard conference call. Loving the terrans more and more with that still the micro they demand XD lol guess I wont be touching multiplayer much XDĭoes anyone have an original Blizzard game, (except for Wc1 WC2 and wow)īlizzard president Mike Morhaime today confirmed that the StarCraft II beta would begin sometime this summer. RE: StarCraft II - clonezero - 05-05-2009 RE: StarCraft II - clonezero - 03-02-2009 > Check the first message in the link for more details and pictures.īasically a defense matrix which is targetable.Doesn't it cloak a unit? Oh, and to add to what atdsutm posted, Zerg units are getting animation and texture revamps. Terrans get free miners and temporary supply boost. We would probably be seeing well-positioned dark pylons which doubles as a mining upgrade and defense/pathing for probes (whereas this used to be a role of the pylon in SC2). Like for Zerg, they now can build more drones because of the queen ability. Mid-to-late game (anti) Mining techniques/strategies would greatly vary from race to race. Since all that im seeing now is micro stuffs added to new RTSs that im seeing Its good to see that SC2 is evolving differently as an RTS compare to what we are seeing in RA3 and DoW2 (almost no macro). OMG this is for Q&A 49, with some interesting MACRO mechanics added to the game. Banelings now have a skill called "Explode on Buildings." Now to target buildings you have to use the skill instead of using the attack command. How do I stop my banelings from constantly prioritizing buildings first rather than units? Ground Suicide units have a habit of having the worst AI possible. Also cleave from an ultralisks destroy marines rather quickly. If your opponent does not react fast enough, most of their army will be dead. One "Fungal Scourge" can destroy a squad of marines in an instant. You can also mix roaches with your army to do this easily.Īnother great way to destroy marines are the infestors. As long as it is a wide area zerg players won't have a hard time flanking marines, and you will hear hundreds of "UHDAUHJSA" screams from marines. Burrow Banelings is another great way to destroy Marines. You can fight in a large area using zerglings. Zerg players can do the following to defeat marines. How can a zerg player fight against this? The Marine is now much much stronger in SC2 than SC1. Roach regeneration does not stack with medivac healing. In 2v2, dont you think roaches + Medivacs will be a very overpowering strat? Regardless of the location of the mutalisk, it will now bounce to the 3 closest units. How do the mutalisk attacks bounce in SC2? Is it like SC1 where it will bounce at a designated location or will it be totally random? Think of it as a dark swarm, but instead of ranged attacks missing, everything inside the cloud gets damaged. You 1 extra larva from a hatchery NO! It gives More larvaes! It can give 4 This is for a short time and allows economic advantage.īasically a defense matrix which is targetable.Įxchanges mana with another unit which uses manaĬalls down some scv kind of unit. This ability uses energy of the dark pylon. Makes mining minerals faster by increasing the probe's proton cutter. This building allows you several skills for units (upgraded Pylon) There's one more tribe in the description right they didn't place them in the game?īlah blah Dark Templar Lore. RE: StarCraft II - clonezero - 01-13-2009 It is good, so i can customize my battlecruisers depending on the situation Kinda like a Carrier having to buy interceptors. The abilities need to be upgraded PER battlecruiser. However, I like the upgrade to the Phoenix. land potential should be completely nerfed. Even with the lurker upgrade, I don't think it's ranged vs. I don't like the idea of it being an "anti-air" unit. I don't like what they did to the hydra though.
